LTC (Ret) Joseph “JJ” Montanaro has more than 25 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management, with extensive work supporting military members, Veterans, retirees, and their families. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve and spent nearly a quarter century with USAA, where he advised clients on retirement planning, investment management, and financial wellness strategies. Throughout his career, JJ collaborated with military-focused organizations and financial education initiatives serving the broader military community. He earned a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
