Gordon Shoger, CPA

Gordon Shoger, CPA joined the Army Residence Community as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in May 2017. His background includes positions both as auditor and later as senior auditor with the firm of Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for planning and conducting annual audits for financial, real estate, and asset management organizations. Gordon has worked in the senior living industry since 1996, filling a broad spectrum of roles at both the corporate and community level. He has significant operational experience serving as Executive Director of continuing care retirement communities for Texas and national companies. He has also served in various financial executive roles within the senior living industry since 1996. Mr. Shoger received a B.S. in Accounting from Texas State University and is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.
