John G. Clamp

John Clamp has over 40 years of experience in public service, non-profit management, finance, and real estate. Currently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Administration at The Greater San Antonio Chamber. His previous roles include Chief Administrative Officer at VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority, SVP of Finance & Administration at The DoSeum, CFO at the Alamo Area Council of Governments, and Executive Director of the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association. He also served as a San Antonio City Councilman, representing 150,000 constituents and contributing to various policies and community initiatives.

John holds an MPSA from Texas A&M, an MBA in Finance, and a BBA in Accounting from UTSA. He is a CPA and licensed real estate broker with extensive expertise in finance and administration. Throughout his career, John has focused on operational efficiency, financial management, and public service.
