RS interacts with Residents to better assess and meet evolving life event needs. The primary goal is to ensure Residents in Independent Living can continue to live independently for as long as can be done safely. Examples of transitional and support services may include: (a) supporting aging in place; (b) offering counseling and crisis management; (c) assisting Residents along the continuum for those in need of a higher level of care to include hospitalization, scheduled procedures, and trips to the ER; (d) developing programs to promote aging in place, safety, and wellness; and (e) offering wellness services (e.g., temperature checks, blood pressure checks, falls, etc.).
