Security patrols the community and coordinates emergency response 24 hours a day year-round. Security also screens entries through the main gate from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. After hours, Security locks down entry points and escorts visitors and guests to the host destination. In addition, Security investigates criminal, dangerous, or suspicious incidents; controls traffic issues; and interacts with area law enforcement and first responders.
When a Resident’s welfare comes into question and calls go unanswered, Security conducts personal wellness checks to ensure Residents’ safety. Residents may call on Security to assist in smaller emergencies such as: locking and unlocking doors, starting dead batteries, aiding with vehicle lockouts, and rounding up stray animals.
