Employees are prohibited from receiving tips and/or gifts from Residents. In lieu of tipping, Residents are encouraged to donate to the Smith Fund (Employee Gift Fund). Donations to the Smith Fund are used solely for employee bonuses. A bonus check is typically issued to employees in December.
