The Housekeeping Department schedules weekly housekeeping for the apartments, cottages, and common areas.
Weekly housekeeping cleaning services include:
- Bathroom: Clean tile shower/tub, sink, toilet bowl, doors/walls, and mirror; sweep and mop floor; remove trash
- Kitchen: Clean stove, countertop, sink, and refrigerator; sweep and mop floor; remove trash
- Bedroom: Dust all areas, vacuum, and remove trash
- Living areas: Dust all areas, vacuum, and remove trash
- General areas: Clean inside windows, windowsills, and blinds
- Other areas may be cleaned upon request and within the allotted time per apartment or cottage.
The following are services NOT provided by housekeepers: providing personal services such as bathing, hair styling, dressing, dining assistance, or administering medications. Cleaning garages, pet litter boxes, and valuable items are beyond the scope of normal cleaning duties. In addition, housekeepers are not permitted to walk pets or perform gardening.
Holiday schedules are distributed with reduced time to ensure all Residents receive service. Residents may be scheduled on a different day and/or time.
