Parking areas are designated separately for Residents, visitors, and employees.
Recreational Vehicles: Boats, campers, mobile homes, and trailers may not be parked on the community grounds on a permanent or long-term basis. Residents having oversized recreational vehicles need to check with Security for temporary parking within the Community. Short-term parking of oversized recreational vehicles belonging to Residents or guests may be possible depending on parking availability. Commercial storage facilities are available within a short distance from the ARC.
Main Building: Parking spaces located around the main building are designated separately for Residents, visitors, or handicapped individuals. Residents with living units in the High Rise are assigned a numbered parking space contingent upon the Resident owning a vehicle. Residents visiting the main building and guests may park only in spaces designated for visitors.
Handicapped Parking: Handicapped spaces are designated and should not be used unless it is assigned to the Resident. Assignment of a handicapped space is based on the medical handicap condition of the individual. These spaces are not transferrable to any other individual, including family members.
Residents may request handicapped parking by submitting a written application to the Front Desk Manager. The application must be signed by the Resident and include a doctor’s statement attesting to the nature and prognosis of the disability with an explanation of the reason handicap parking is essential to the Resident’s physical well-being. Handicapped parking is limited and assigned on a first-come basis.
Employee Parking: Employees of the Community and employees of Residents will use the employee lots across the street from the Health Care Center and adjacent to the Quebec area. In addition, designated spaces for employees at Lakeside Landing are marked accordingly.
Health Care Center (HCC): The HCC covered parking lot is reserved for HCC Residents, Crestway AL Residents, family members, and guests.
Visitor Parking: Visitors may park in visitor spaces or in the cottage driveway of the host. A limited number of handicapped parking spaces for visitors is available at the main entrance of both the High Rise and Lakeside Landing building.
