Residents are requested to inform the Front Desk when leaving the community overnight or for longer periods to provide contact information in case of emergency. The Front Desk must be informed if a neighbor has been given a key to the unit. “Record of Absence” forms are available at the Front Desk and on the Resident Portal. For an extended absence, Residents must stop delivery of newspapers and arrange with the U.S. Postal Service to hold or forward mail. Forms for authorization to hold mail are available at the Front Desk. Residents should inform the Front Desk upon returning.
In addition, Residents should notify Resident Services if they are having a medical procedure performed resulting in being away from the unit. Providing notice for all absences will also enable the Resident to receive a dining credit for days out of the community where applicable.
