Life Enrichment

March 8th is International Women's Day!

The ARC is proud to be home to so many great female leaders. For this special occasion, we would like to highlight LTC Dain Franks. She is an excellent example of what perseverance can achieve. LTC Franks was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and studied medicine at The University of Witwatersrand. After moving to the United States, LTC Franks decided to serve her country by joining the United States Air Force. She served for more than twenty years in the Medical Corps before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2012. She continued practicing family medicine until 2019. Thank you for your service, LTC Franks! Click Here

Noah's Knitters is one of the ARC's first organizations. They knit and crochet: blankets, hats, scarfs, and baby booties. They contribute to various charities, such as Christian Assitance Ministry, Threads of Love, Soldiers, Angles, and Dr.Colin Partidge's Foundation.

This past May, Resident Services hosted the Kentucky Derby. It was a great turnout, and apparently the Mint Juleps were spectacular!

Cinco de Mayo was also a special occasion. The ARC served frozen margaritas the whole day!

ARC residents love participating in golf cart parades. This one, in particular, is from the Armed Forces Parade.

Every day you can see residents making arts and crafts in the activity room. In this picture, they painted with watercolors and created tissue paper flowers and butterflies.
