POSITION REPORTS TO: Sr. Director of Business Development

FSLA STATUS: Exempt

PURPOSE OF JOB: The Marketing Counselor's primary purpose is to generate referrals by meeting and engaging with prospective residents to influence a move to the Army Residence Community, subsequently growing our overall census.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides assistance with implementation of the Strategic Marketing Plan as directed by Senior Leadership

· Telephone discovery with clients to gain appointments, conduct effective investigation prior to the tours for effective, efficient time management

· Communicates sales and contractual information and closes contract sales to maintain and improve occupancy levels

· Maintains long term contact with prospects to encourage continued familiarity with the services and amenities available at Army Residence Community

· Routinely reviews software database (Matrix Care) to identify and follow-up on leads.

· Inputs and updates data into Matrix Care with accuracy and speed

· Meets established goals regarding contacts and tours to achieve desired sales goal

· Perform Informational tours with prospects and family members

· Assist with internal and external special events, such as a Marketing Luncheons, New Resident Orientation, and Health Fairs etc.

· Maintain and update mailing list for promotional brochures

· Ensures that the admission packet is completed in a timely manner and that all forms are presented in a neat and organized manner

· Ensures that all admissions are screened thoroughly and adequately prior to admission

· Works with prospects on reviewing and signing the priority application, down payment agreement and confidential data application.

· Process checks for priority and down payment agreement

· Manage Resident File upon receipt of down payment deposit, securing physicals, etc.

· Answer multiple phone lines, answering questions regarding sales process

· Interact with and provide excellent customer service to our Residents, potential Residents and visitors

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· 5 plus years of healthcare marketing and sales experience specifically in a Life Plan/CCRC

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point)

· Experience with web page updates, Facebook, Twitter, SEO tools and other social media

· Must remain transparent in all customer/client relations building strong, effective working Relationships

· Possess basic knowledge of marketing operations involving occupancy goals in a Life Plan/ CCRC community

· Work collaboratively as a team member

· Able to make sound decisions with little guidance

· Outgoing personality with a positive welcoming attitude

· Self-motivated, confident, and creative

· Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to work individually with self-driven projects

· Demonstrate ability to suggest appropriate solutions to solve problems

· Execute high level of accuracy, paying attention to detail to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner

· Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· 40 hour workweek; Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. May occasionally require evening and weekends to conduct tours, events or meeting with potential clients and their families

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year
