Media Content/Graphic Design Associate

We are currently accepting applications for Full-time Media Content/Graphic Design Associate:

PURPOSE OF JOB: To set and guide the strategy for all media content; website, public relations messages, produce brand-aligned visual assets and collateral to consistently articulate Army Residence Community’s mission across multiple lines of business with overall goals of enhancing brand reputation while increasing product awareness/preference and ultimately impacting revenue. The position is responsible for managing all media content activities, campaign strategies and market insight utilizing content to support the ARC’s brand philosophy.

The Media Content/Graphic Design Associate will work closely with the Marketing team as the creative lead on a variety of strategic initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Continue to evolve the marketing and communications plan to enhance advertising, brand awareness, the website, and conversion rates

· Incorporate the brand into new marketing and development collateral and assist other departments as needed

· Put media content vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities

· Support local SEO efforts by ensuring pages are update and accurate on websites

· Manage relationships with vendors for printing, exterior/interior signage, website development, Google grant, advertisement and media contacts

· Create social media content that engages our audience and leads to measurable action

· Maintain and manage community website and create a more robust site by incorporating multimedia

· Create, redesign, or revise print and digital assets across a variety of platforms (e.g., brochures, booklets, periodicals, merchandise, mass mail letters, stickers, t-shirts, websites, landing pages, maps, social media content, emails, video graphics, infographics, and iconography)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Information Technology

· 2 - 5 years’ experience producing print, web, and event graphic design required

· Must have the ability to take knowledge and transform it into exciting and useful messages and disseminate it to the right audiences through the best distribution channels

· Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud—especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

· Experience in digital graphic design and social media—especially Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.

· Experience in photography & videography including post-production, as well as knowledge in operating equipment such as digital camera, video cameras, lighting, printers, etc.

· Strong layout, typographic, production, and color abilities along with a love for working in both print and digital spaces

· Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies. High attention to detail and ability to manage a variety of initiatives concurrently.

· Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication and analytical skills

· High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels

· Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, residents, board members, volunteers, and others

· Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives

· Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. Hours may vary depending on business need, to include evening and weekends for events
