David J. Bowlin
Mr. David Bowlin serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Broaddus & Associates and is a member of the company's Executive Committee. As such, he is responsible for the overall operations of the company. Mr. Bowlin's career began in the U. S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, which included a classified assignment at the White House Military Office at Camp David, the Presidential Retreat, during President Ronald Reagan's second term.
In the 1990s, Mr. Bowlin served as Director of Major Building Programs at UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He was responsible for executing a $1 B program for UTMDACC providing one million square feet in three new facilities consisting of an outpatient clinic, patient care tower, and clinical research building with vivarium. He directly supervised a staff of 24 architects, engineers, interior designers, equipment planners, construction inspectors, and administrative staff. He holds a BS Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MS Engineering from Stanford University.
